If your phone is unable to find the BoldHue device, follow these steps:
- In your phone settings > select Bluetooth > click Bluetooth "On"
- In your phone settings > select BoldHue App > select Location and Enable It (allow)
* Your BoldHue App screen will continue to say "Device Not Found" until this action is taken
- On the BoldHue app > select "Account" in the bottom left > select "My BoldHue"
> It will then prompt a screen "Finding Your BoldHue"
> Once your phone finds your device > click on "Connect"(a photo of the device with a 4 digit alphanumeric name as "BoldHue - ####" will be displayed) - Now your phone and BoldHue device are paired via Bluetooth
- Time to scan & make!
Usually, when you first download the app, it prompts you to allow location access. If you selected "No," it may prevent the app from connecting to the BoldHue device. You may also have your default settings set to "Do Not Use Location," so it's possible that it didn’t prompt you when downloading the BoldHue App. Your BoldHue screen will continue to say "Device Not Found" until Step # 2 above is completed.
The BoldHue app will display "Device Not Found" even if your device is listed in Bluetooth settings, and you select "Pair" and see "Connect via BoldHue App." You will need to follow the above steps to successfully connect the BoldHue device to the BoldHue app via Bluetooth.
